TIO Lets You Experience a Wonderful Winter Vacation in Norway!

Most Americans don’t think of Norway as a skiing destination. So, in conjunction with the 2012 Snowboard World Championships in Oslo, VisitNorway and Scandinavian Airlines decided to launch a campaign to show off Norway as a fresh destination for US winter tourists.

Our goal was to create a fun, interactive campaign site that simultaneously allows users to learn and experience Norway personally. So we created a site where you can sign in with Facebook and answer a few simple questions about your personality as well as pick four friends to bring along on the imaginary trip. The site then automatically creates a travel journal based on your personality complete with images of various destinations, ski resorts, restaurants and bars. You and your friends will be tagged in photos doing fancy snowboard tricks or relaxing at the spa. Post it to your timeline and brag about the fantastic adventure in Norway.

Oh, and the friends you picked will be surprised when they find out on their timeline that they had an action packed Norway trip with you!
